The Property

Standing at an elevation of 2,000 feet, Palazzo Parisi offers a retreat from the intense heat of an Italian summer. Arabella Lennox-Boyd has designed a magnificent garden, with three secret, shady areas for relaxation. The swimming pool has stunning views, with undulating hills stretching into the distance. A private tennis court is a five-minute drive away.

The house is situated on a hectare of olive groves and gardens and, with its massively thick walls, is wonderfully cool in the summer. On two sides, smaller village houses nestle against it, while against the others are the beautiful private grounds, complete with a disused family chapel and an infinity swimming pool.

The garden is under Arabella's constant review and combines a formal garden near the house with more naturalistic planting of olive trees leading to the pool and pool-house.
