The salotto, with its eighteenth century frescoes, comfortable furniture and terracotta floors, offers a cool respite from the sweltering midday sun. In addition, there is a large billiard room, complete with games and a library of English books. The loggia (a covered terrace) with its 70 feet in length provides a wonderfully cool vantage point for viewing the surrounding countryside through a series of arches.
The rooms are arranged on two floors with six double bedrooms and five bathrooms, another floor is available with 2 twin rooms, 1 single room and 1 shared bathroom for extra cost.
An indoor sundial, labyrinthine ancient wine cellars, vast former kitchens and even a dungeon making for fascinating explorations and table tennis and a vast stock of games are perfect for entertaining the family and guests.
